Prohibition, 1927

The prohibition started around the 1920's. Prohibition was about the ban of alcohol. The government thought that by baning alcohol it would make the U.S a better place. The band of alcohol made many people angry. Little did they know that it would change the country for ever. The worlds biggest mobster Al Capone made millions just by selling alcohol. Some people started to make under ground bar's. Once the government took notice of what was happening they realised that the consumption of alcohol raised. The government fought with the people for years about the band of alcohol. Soon the prohibition ended.
